Michael A. Dean, MD

Prior to relocating in Tucson in 2010, he spent 12 years in private practice in a rural Arizona community. After careful examination of the Ideal Protein program, he became very interested in offering it to his clients as it is soundly based in science. During the last year and a half of that time he incorporated this program into his practice for those patients needing to address conditions associated with Metabolic Syndrome (or Symptom X) including diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and overweight/ obesity.

The results were so exciting with his own patients that after relocation to Tucson, Dr. Dean was excited to offer the community a sound weight loss regimen where this program hadn’t yet been available. With hundreds of his own clients who are thrilled they did the program, many of which not only lost weight, felt “a heck of a lot better,” and as a result of the weight loss, were able to reduce or completely eliminate medicines that they had been taking for years, Dr. Dean enthusiastically states, “It is wonderful to be able to offer someone a non- prescription protocol to regain health.”

Lisa McCord, LMT

Clinical Director, Lisa McCord left “corporate” America in 1996 a physical state of “dis-ease” and ill health. By that time she had owned and managed businesses for over 19 years. At 36 years old she came full circle, making a decision that the stress and 70 hour work weeks were slowly killing her and it wasn’t worth risking a stroke by age 40. While she became true to herself and pursued in earnest her own her own physical health she went on to study massage therapy. Since then, she has maintained a successful clinical massage practice for 14 years (at one point having offices in both Prescott and Tucson for nearly seven years.) “FOOD” has been her hobby and passion since being a teen in the mid 1970’s. (Imagine being a “foodie” for so many years and not knowing you were called something!) Lisa still reads everything she can get her hands on about food, even reading cook books cover to cover.

Lisa has struggled with weight her entire life (“yo-yo ing” to well over 200 pounds…not once, but twice! (Including behaviors like emotional eating, stopping three times while driving across town for “something on the way,” exercising to keep weight “under control” and even going vegetarian to “better manage” the weight.) After many approaches over the years like “food combining”, “Atkins”, and vegetarianism she stumbled on to the Ideal Protein program and a serious AHHah moment! This program” intuitively” made so much more sense to her than anything else she’d ever done or heard of.

After doing the Ideal Protein program herself and slimming down to her desired goal weight for the first time in 30 years, she is not only thrilled for herself – but for others as well because she knows that there is finally an answer that is “do-able.” For life. Now, with eight years of weight maintenance, give or take a 5 pound variance, she is happier and healthier than ever. Having “been there done that,” Lisa feels this is a unique opportunity to help others with similar struggles. She knows can put the confusing pieces together for you. Her personal day to day life of living, breathing, and eating the Ideal Protein lifestyle makes her very strong in the coaching of this program.

Now, Lisa more fully comprehends the quote by Hippocrates she recalls from her early days that stated: “Let food be your medicine.” She is now personally, and keenly aware of how true that really is. Mike Jacobson, PhD., Executive Director of the Center for Science in the Public Interest stated “the government should train thousands of non-physician specialists who would help motivate patients to adopt healthy lifestyles.” Lisa is thrilled to be in the forefront of that movement.

The Protocol

There are four phases in the Ideal Protein Weight Loss Protocol. During all four Phases you will receive one-on-one coaching, teaching you how your body gains weight and what you should be eating in order to maintain a balanced weight.
